Have for sale an Ariens GT17 I bought about a year ago. Has front and rear PTO, hydrostatic trans, hydraulic front/rear lift arms and the ability to take cat0 3pt attachments such as a tiller, box blade, etc (hitch not included, but can be picked up off ebay relatively easily). Comes with a relatively rare 60" hydraulic shaft-driven deck.
I installed new points, condenser, fuel pump, front tires, plugs, wires, battery, some misc deck pulleys, front PTO spring, and a carb kit, but think the carb needs adjusted. It'll run a full throttle but dies at lower RPM. I've re-sealed the hydraulic pump exchange unit, but it still leaks some fluid from the rear end somewhere. I keep it on a battery tender, and have to pump up one of the rear tires every other week. Previous owner re-wired some of it, but most things function except the lights. Not pictured, but I do have the deck gearbox cover plate.
Selling because I bought another garden tractor, and the Ariens' deck is a bit big for my property. Would be a real workhorse with a little time and patience. I mowed all last season with it.
